The Diquís Spheres of Costa Rica bring the energy of Unity and Global Connection. They are made of a volcanic rock that would not naturally form in such a perfect spherical shape, and are far too perfect to have been made with primitive stone tools as some sources suggest. They were discovered in the 1930's by workers clearing the jungle for a banana plantation. Unfortunately, no respect was given to documenting the large and numerous stone spheres. Instead, they were pushed aside with bulldozers, damaged by heavy equipment and countless workers blew them up with dynamite, inspired by stories of hidden gold inside. Fortunately, no gold was ever found in their centers, so the remaining spheres remained untouched. Still numerous, the smaller ones were distributed locally and became popular lawn decorations. Now, they are protected and the large ones are tourist destinations of their own.
