If viewed from above, you can see the large circle has two much smaller stone circles within it, and two very long trails of double rows of standing stones leading into the henge. If you use a little imagination with a little knowledge of anatomy and can overlook the destruction of the site, you can see the pattern of a giant womb with two ovaries inside the large circle and half-mile long fallopian tubes leading into it. It is part of an extraordinary set of nearby ceremonial sites that form a vast sacred landscape in the area.
