This area is thought to have been the living quarters for the people of Machu Picchu. This fine art painting was done en plein air (on site) and includes visionary symbols of healing and connection. The crescent moon on the forested mountain is an ancient goddess reference of the continual cycles of the Earth and of Life itself. The forested mountainside reflects this shape and one could wonder if it once was far more pronounced. The Tan Ran reiki symbol painted on middle left means: seeking wholeness in heart.
