This mountaintop that overlooks the Machu Picchu valley is named Huayna Picchu and hosts a temple to the moon, complete with a lunar observatory at its peak. This fine art oil painting encompasses the mountain and the Machu Picchu structures below. A herd of llamas meandered by as Susan stood on agricultural terraces on the far southern edge of the sacred valley to paint this en plein air.
